Premise: This film tells the true story of a controversial Washington D.C. journalist, Stephen Glass (played by Hayden). He became renowned in his 20s for his work at The New Republic and contributing articles to Rolling Stone. He fabricated 27 of his 41 published stories at The New Republic, making up sources, quotes and whole articles. Eventually, he is found out. The film was inspired by an article by Buzz Bissinger, titled "Shattered Glass", in the September 1998 issue of Vanity Fair.

The Other Side of Simple

Premise: In this crime thriller, a crook abandons his slow younger brother (played by Hayden) during a botched robbery. 10 years later, the thief (along with his partener) returns to his hometown, hoping that the brother can serve as the fall guy again in their latest scheme. Eventually, they begin to realize that little brother isn't as dumb as they had thought.

Nailed Right In

Premise: Citizens of 1985 Brooklyn band together against a local mob boss, which threatens the friendships of three ambitious young Catholic men (Hayden plays one of the young men, with Johnny Depp as the mob boss). The film is reportedly inspired by events Winter himself witnessed in the 1980s.

Star Wars Episode III

Premise: The final Star Wars film, Episode III takes just two or three years after the end of Episode II. It will be a rather dark film, as Anakin (played by Hayden) will turn into Darth Vader. Other plot points include the rise of the Empire, the Clone Wars, the fall of the Republic, and the scattering of the Jedi. On a more positive not, Padme (Natalie Portman) becomes pregnant with Luke and Leia.
